Breed Addition Application
Below is the form to add an existing real life breed to the kennel club's approved breed list. Make sure you have all your information ready to submit. You will need to include the name of the Major Kennel Club they are registered at, Name of the breed at the club, and a link to the dog's breed standard.

New Breed Application
Have you been developing your own breed of dog? Would you like it added to the list of approved breeds to enter in conformation shows? Below is the form you need to fill out to get it registered. This is for the serious breed developers though. As you will need to do a lot to get it approved. It's not asking for a lot, just the basics that all breeds require. And I will need to verify that it fits the new breeds standard.
General Appearance should include the overall appearance and carriage of your dog. What people see in a nutshell, Also include differences in conformation between Male and female if it exists.
Temperament should include the breeds general personality. This should never include a dog that is overly aggressive or shy/timid. As the dog has to be able to be touched by a judge in the show ring. there is a difference between Aggressive and protective. many breeds we consider "aggressive" are very protective but with proper training and such the dog is gentle in the ring. View the Rule book pages to see what is a requirement for a dog to be able to show in the show ring.
Head should include in-depth detail pertaining to all parts of the dogs head including, but not limited to ears(including shape and carriage), eyes(including color), cheeks and muzzle(such as length, stop angle, and width).
Size, Proportion & Substance should include the overall feel of the dogs body(such as length of Back width of rib cage) proportions of the dog(such as square, off square etc, and the overall impression of the dogs body known as substance(meaning muscular/lean, size, and overall feel)
Neck, Topline & Body should include the length & build of the dogs neck, angulation of the dog's topline and length of back. and the overall shape, build and feel of the body(not including the legs and tail)
Forequarters should include the length of the legs, and overall build of the legs such as lean/muscular, shape & size of paws/lower leg(even though that is not adjustable in the game)
Hindquarters should include the length of the rear legs, build of the hips, thighs and lower leg/paws and overall feel of the hindquarters(lean/muscular, well feathered, angulation)
Coat - the overall feel and texture of the dogs coat, including the length of the coat and any feathering that may be present in the coat either naturally or through show cut grooming.
Color - Include all colors and patterns that are allowed in the show ring. Also include if random white, black, etc markings are desirable or undesirable for the breed.
Gait - Include how the dog naturally moves at a trot. or at work for it's job(such as herding,etc for example a sighthound has a long springy gait to save energy while a working breed dog will have a less graceful gait)
Stack - Please include a description of how the dog should be stacked in the ring, Also include an image of the dogs stack that best shows off it's body type.
*attach a stacked photo of 3 dogs(1 from each generation) and 1 photo of the dog at a trot.
