Who May Offer Obedience Trials
All members are allowed to create Obedience shows. These shows may be standard Obedience or Weight Pulling shows and/or trials. Only mods and staff are allowed to create Premier and Invitational classes/trials but members can create any low level obedience show.
Obedience & What It Is
An obedience trial is a competitive evaluation of dog and handler to execute a set routine. It both judges the usefulness and versatility of your dog and the handlers ability to train a dog. Standard Obedience is a show to evaluate a dogs ability to perform basic tasks including but not limited to sit, stay, jump over a small jump on command or return an object. Weight Pull is a show to evaluate a dogs ability to pull weight across a distance. This show is well suited for draft breeds like APBT's(or bully breeds in general) and sled dogs like huskies, malamutes and the like.
In standard Obedience tasks change from level to level...there is no requirements to enter different levels EXCEPT for Invitational & Premier levels. those levels you are required to have earned atleast 1 High In Trial in obedience or weight pull.

The Sims United Philosophy on Obedience
The Sims United believes that all purebred and mixed breed dogs are allowed to enter an obedience trial. All types of dogs are able to do obedience since it tests an average dogs ability to listen to commands and execute them quickly. These shows are also designed for working and field type dogs who are designed to do work or Utility jobs. BUT all dogs are capable of doing these shows whether they are show type or working/field type as a dog, in general, aims to please it's handler.

Kennel Donations
to increase the cash prizes and/or other prizes to hand out for your shows we do allow members to give or ask for donations. BUT donations are just that, donations, donating prizes or money should never be an obligation to enter a show. But if members, either entrants or generous kennels, want to sweeten the prizes they are welcome to send money to the host kennel. the host kennel is REQUIRED to equally divide money donations over all money earning spots to keep the prize pot balanced among all placements.
Other prizes that may be donated can include any kind of service or item such as a ribbon for sites(or in-game ribbon), poses, or other things.
